Mr. Dale Allen Cooke, age 55, of Epworth, GA passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 at his home. Born in Polk County, TN, he was the son of the late Calvin Coolidge Cook and Rita Mae Wright Cook. He worked for Shaw Industries, and was a member of Bethany Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Cook, and a sister, Rebecca Ann Barnes.He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Jessica Cook of Epworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Denna Cook of Mobile, Terry and Brandi Cook of Blue Ridge, and Warren Cook of Mobile; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and Doug Stiles of Epworth and Sheila and John Lee of Epworth; brother-in-law, Larry Barnes of Dalton; sister-in-law, Connie Cook of Mobile; nieces, Cherokee, Kaitlyn, and Lexie Cook and many more nieces and nephews.Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany Church with Rev. Jimmy Dickey and Rev. Bob Scott officiating. Music was by Melissa Hicks, Melinda Trim, Joey Cook and Jessie and Lena Hill. Pallbearers were Allen Cook, Terry Cook, Joey Barnes, Steve Cook, Sr., Warren Cook, Steve Cook, Jr., Brannon Lee, and George Scott. Honorary pallbearers were John Lee, Doug Stiles, Sr., Doug Stiles, Jr., James Scott and Danny Patterson. Interment followed in Bethany Cemetery.
