Dakota Marcus Patterson, age 30, of Copperhill, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born on December 11, 1990, in Stockbridge, GA to James Darriel Harrison and Amy Lois Patterson Rivas. Dakota is preceded in death by his father, James Darriel Harrison; and his grandfather, Billy E. Patterson. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Ann Burk Patterson; daughter, Lakota Patterson and her mother, Emily; sons, Jay Masters, Justin Ingram, and Franklin Burk; mother, Amy (Jorge) Rivas; grandmother, Betty Patterson; siblings, Lacey (Logan) Pack and their daughter, Iris, Howie Wright, Dustin Wright, and Savannah Rivas and her son, Colson Stewart; and several aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends also survive. Graveside services were conducted on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from Majestic Cemetery with Rev. Joey Ensley officiating. Music was provided by Stephanie Ensley. Pallbearers were Jeremy Coleman, Chris Whitten, Howie Wright, Doc Burk, Jay Masters, and Justin Ingram. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray final expenses.
