Cynthia Kay Brown, age 58, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020. She was born on October 14, 1961 in Rome, GA. She is preceded in death by her father, Grady Rollins. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Brandi) Farr of McCaysville and Jennifer Farr of Morganton; and grandchildren, Christopher Farr, Sadie Farr, Blake Dockery, Cameron Dockery, Chandler Dockery, and Bryson Farr. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joel Nicholson officiating. Music will be by Brother Steven Moore and Wanda Moore. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park with Brother Steven Moore officiating. Blake Dockery, Chandler Dockery, Cameron Dockery, Bryson Farr, Christopher Farr, and Shawn Ralston will serve as pallbearers.
