The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Crystal Jean Northam, age 40, of Blue Ridge, GA, who passed away Monday, August 25th in the St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Crystal was born in West Palm Beach, FL and was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Northam of the home; son, Michael Wadlington of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Jessi Souvenir of Valdosta, GA, Evalou Northam and Emily Northam, both of Blue Ridge, GA; her mother, Carla Wichterman of McCormic, SC; sisters, Alice Wadlington and Beth Stewart, both of West Palm Beach, FL. Many other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 30th at 2:00 p.m. from the Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
