Cortney Loedicia Turner, age 41, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. She was born in Polk County on June 19, 1980. Cortney was of the Baptist faith and worked for The Swan Drive-In. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Turner. Cortney is survived by her son, Steven Glenn Larkin Setser of Gainesville; mother, Suzie Kendall of Morganton; father, Bill Kendall of Morganton; siblings, Dawhn Kendall (Anthony Bryant) of Mineral Bluff, Shawn (Stephen) Bradley of Epworth, Brandi Kendall of Greenwood, IN, and Michelle (Michael) Rigo-Morales of McCaysville. Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chan Mitchell officiating.
