Consuela Sue "Suzie" Prather Kendall, age 68, of Morganton, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Gainesville. She was born in Belle Glade, FL, on February 21, 1957, to the late Bobby Wayne Prather and Evelyn Virginia Green Prather. She worked for many years at Levi Strauss as a seamstress. She spent her life sharing love and support to not only her family but countless others. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She believed and helped others to see that God's Grace is always sufficient. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Cortney Turner.

Suzie is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Bill Kendall; children and their spouses, Dawhn and Anthony Bryant, Shawn and Stephen Bradley, Brandi Kendall and Partner Heather Brant, and Michelle and Michael Rigo-Morales; grandchildren Jonah Bradley, Rachael Kendall, Aaron Bradley, Christopher Davis, Sadie Novotny, Timothy Bradley, Steven Setser, Samuel Harris, Kayleigh Kirby, and Devan Moore; great-grandchildren Theodore Novotny, James Kirby, and Skyleigh Kirby; siblings Roger Prather, Dalinda and Joey Davenport, Wynoka and Mark Chitty, and Valisa Sanders; and best friend, Betty Bowers.

The family visited with friends and loved ones at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Nathan Dean and Dr. Roger Beck officiating.
