Connie Lynn Norton, age 62, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in Canton, Georgia.

Born on March 5, 1963, in Decatur, Georgia, Connie was the daughter of the late Arthur "Buddy" O'Neal and Linda Jean Coker. She dedicated many years to her work as a seamstress with Pulse Medical. Connie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; niece, Taylor Norton; and father-in-law, Kimsey Norton.

Connie is survived by her husband of 15 years, Troy Norton; children, James Michael Chandler (Tiffany) and Jacqulynn McCreary; five grandchildren, William Isaac Enloe, Jacob Elijah Enloe, Jasmine Joanna Enloe, Savannah Jean Chandler, and Samuel James Chandler; siblings, Tracie Mathis (Dustin) and Kathy Ashley (Russell); mother-in-law, Judy Norton; nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, Natalie Williams, Courtney Hardegree, Katlynn Johnson, Kelsey Wommack, Chase Pittman, Parker Ashley, Tyler Patterson, Amber Fowler, Breanna Barton, Chase Norton, Easton Patterson, Grayson Patterson, Simone Patterson, Ryleigh Fowler, Amelia Fowler, and Violet Fowler; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Eric Norton, LeRoy Norton (Teresa) and Tammy Bryan; aunts, Ann Peevy, Ruby Silvers, Brenda Henley, Jean Crawford, and Linda Gresham; a host of extended relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Eric Davenport and Rev. Michael Mathis officiating. Music was provided by Angel Mathis. Interment followed in the Norton Family Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Gage Clore, T.J. Fowler, Jason Tanner, Russell Ashley, Dustin Mathis, and Parker Ashley. Selected to serve as an honorary pallbearer was Coy Norton. The family visited with friends at the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, GA on Thursday evening, November 13, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
