Connie Gwendolyn Little, age 72 of Covington, GA passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019. She was born on September 7, 1947 in Blue Ridge, GA. Connie owned and operated a restaurant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her mother, Reba Goff James; cousins, Ruth Ann Queen and Damon Howard; an uncle, Olin Coffe; and aunts, Mary Coffee and Alice Howard. Survivors are husband, Ernest Steve Little; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald Merritt, Jr. (Suzanne); daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Garrett (Patrick), Michelle Greene (Scott);special daughter, Linda Bezold; father, Thomas "Coy" James; grandchildren, Megan Floyd (GreG), Nicholas Garrett, Christopher Greene, Ryan Wooten (Keenan), Katie Basner (Corey), Taylor Merritt and Drew Merritt; great-grandchildren, Kylie Floyd, Garrett Floyd, Evelyn Floyd, Vivienne Floyd, Brayden Wooten, Gionna Wooten and Ari Basner; sister-in-law, Sandra Webb; brother-in-law, Robert Merritt and nephew, Robbie Merritt; and cousins, Marie Loftsis, Cathy Bowers, Billy Joe Howard, Ronnie Howard, Steve Howard, Olivia Coffee, Jeff Coffee, and Melissa Duggan. Graveside services were held on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Bob Richardson officiating.
