Connie Christine Bennie, age 53, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Monday, January 2, 2012. Connie was born in Fannin County and attended River of Life Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Bennie.She is survived by her son, Hoyt Self of the home; her mother, Joann Bennie of McCaysville, GA; many other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Gary Queen officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Bennie, Gary Bennie, Larry Bennie, Thomas Bennie, Jerry Bennie and Kenny Tarpley. Interment will follow in the Fairview cemetery.
