Mr. Clint Cole, age 99, of Roswell, GA passed away on Friday March 6, 2009. Born in Fannin County, GA he was the son of the late John and Bessie Quintrell Cole. He was a retired rail road engineer working for the Tennessee Chemical Company. Mr. Cole was a long time member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a Master Mason of McCay Lodge #423. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Tressie Davenport Cole.Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel Landis and Pam Cole of Cumming, GA, and Clint J. and Susan Cole of Ft. Payne, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and W. Guinn Jenkins of Roswell, GA; sister, Elizabeth Smith of Blairsville, GA; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted on Sunday March 8, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge with the Min. Butch Jones and Rev. Ernest German officiating. Music was provided by Celeste Hall, Julia Hall and Rev. Doug Simonds. Interment followed in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Todd Hall, Seth Cole, Rodney Cole, Jake Williams, Joe Williams and Brad Jenkins. Masonic Graveside services were provided by the McCay Lodge F&AM #423.
