Mr. Clifford Larry Briant, Sr., 73 of Epworth, Georgia died on Friday, November 2, 2012, at Life Care of Copper Basin in Ducktown, Tennessee.Born Wednesday, January 25, 1939 in McCaysville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Murphy Christopher Briant and the late Retha Hill Briant. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Melinda Briant of Copperhill, TN; brothers, George Briant of Atlanta, GA and Milton Briant of McCaysville, GA; sisters, Kay Cook of Mineral Bluff, GA, Greta Jones of McCaysville, GA, Virginia Bradham of Atlanta, GA and Mary Elizabeth McCullough of Atlanta, GA.A Funeral service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 5, 2012 from the Akins Chapel in Blue Ridge with the Rev. Kerry Plemmons officiating. Music was by Denise Caldwell and Lawrence Bice. Interment followed Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements. .
