Mrs. Cleo E Pelfrey, age 78 of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Fannin Regional Hospital in Blue Ridge, GA. She was born on Saturday, June 30, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Kit Carson and Ollie Patterson Payne. Mrs. Pelfrey was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Tumbling Creek. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Gene Pelfrey of Blue Ridge, GA; daughters, Carol (Evern) Rider of Mineral Bluff, GA and Marlene (Glenn) Howard of Marietta, SC; sons, William (Penny) Millsaps of Jasper, GA, Danny (Alice) Millsaps of Ranger, GA, Donnie (Sue) Millsaps of Canton, GA, David Millsaps of Ranger, GA, Jimmy (Jeanne) Millsaps of Cartersvillle, GA, Mike (Sabrina) Millsaps of Cartersville, GA, Dave Pelfrey of Cleveland, TN, Bob (Amber) Pelfrey of OH, Tim Pelfrey of OH and Jeff Pelfrey of OH; brothers, Herbert Payne of Epworth, GA and John Henry Payne of Epworth, GA; sisters, Christine Foster of Blue Ridge, GA, Martha Jones of Higdon, GA, Mary Ann Robinson of Blue Ridge, GA, Mattie Botts of East Point, GA, Elvia Ricketson of Atlanta, GA and Kathy Maxwell of Ozark, AL; twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive.Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Akins Chapel the Rev. Gerald Payne and Rev. Lloyd Deal officiating Music was by the Deal Family. Pallbearers were the sons. Honorary pallbearer was Jimmy Payne.
