Claudette Griggs Earley, 84, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on June 21, 2026.

Born on February 27, 1942, in McCaysville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Claude James Griggs and Thelma Welch Griggs German. A woman of strong faith, Claudette was a devoted and longtime member of Bethel Church, where she found great joy in worship, fellowship, and her love of music through singing.

Claudette had a special gift for caring for children and also enjoyed expressing her creativity through painting and ceramics. Cherished by her family and friends, she leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and warmth and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Along with her parents, Claudette was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Johnny Earley.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barron and Kim Earley; grandson, Jamison Earley; sister, Lora Lewis (Sam); niece, Samantha Pugh (Titus); several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; extended relatives, and dear friends.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Music will be provided by Jeremy Payne. Serving as pallbearers will be Titus Pugh, Drake Pugh, Toccoa Pugh, Sam Lewis, Jamison Earley, and Barron Earley.
