Claude Robert Miller, age 80, of Copperhill, TN passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. Claude was born in Monroe County, TN to the late James Everett and Birdie Ellen Duckett Miller. He had worked in the timber industry as a skidder operator and was a member of the Staffordtown Church. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Hyde.He is survived by his wife, Addilee Miller of the home; sons, Jim Miller of Chatsworth, GA, Jerry (Mary) Miller of Copperhill, TN, Brad (Sheryl) Miller of Ducktown, TN, Keith (Melissa) Miller of Etowah, TN; daughters, Susie (Rickey) Patterson of Blue Ridge, GA, Bonnie Hyde of Benton, TN, Geneva (Johnny) Dillard of Lexington, SC, Anita (Neil) Prince of Turtletown, TN, Abby (Jason) Gamble of Copperhill, TN; brothers, Carl Miller of Zion, IL, Amos Miller of Copperhill, TN; sister, Myrtle Loudermilk of Turtletown, TN; twenty one grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 6th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Justin Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship # 3 Baptist Church cemetery.
