Clarence G. Callihan, age 89, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born on July 4, 1934, in Fannin County, to the late Luther Callihan and Ethel Stepp Callihan. Mr. Callihan was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Atlantic Steel for over 30 years. He faithfully attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Mr. Callihan loved his family and enjoyed spending lots of time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Estalee Rose, Imogene Montgomery, and Alice Postell.

Mr. Callihan is survived by his sister, Tressie Mashburn; two sons, Travis Callihan and wife, Laura, and Luke Callihan and wife, Kim; three grandchildren, Lacie Callihan Marden and husband, Luke, Joe Callihan Travis and wife, Jessica, and Lauren Owenby and husband, Caleb; and four great-grandchildren, Logan Callihan Marden, Lorali Pearl Marden, Elliana Kate Owenby, and Carson Willis Owenby.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Music will be provided by Marcia Cochran. Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Travis Callihan, Luke Callihan, Joseph Callihan Travis, Caleb Owenby, Luke Marden, and Chris Hulsey. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, August 8, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
