Clara Lea Lynn, age 86, of Turtletown, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 30, 1934 in Bryson City, NC to the late Joseph Simonds and Dora Mae Bowers Simonds. Clara was a member of Turtletown Church of God of Prophecy, and her life revolved around her church and her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Lynn; and son, Aaron Kirland. Clara is survived by her daughters, Patricia Graham of Lyons, GA, Melissa Green of Turtletown, TN, and Karen Deal of Georgia; brother, John Simonds of Gastonia, NC; sisters, Ruth Iverster of Young Harris, GA, and Nell Hampton of Andrews, NC; twenty-one grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from the Turtletown Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Sam Morrow officiating. Music was provided by Janice Reid and Dennis Ledford. Serving as Pallbearers were Adam Greer, Tyler Ramsey, Wesley Cearly, Gavin Picklesimer, David Green, and Hunter Allen.
