Cindy Marie Taylor, age 76, of Blue Ridge, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 in McCaysville, Georgia. She was born on April 30, 1948 in Calhoun, Georgia to the late William Ray and Lucille Coggins Ray. Marie attended the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. She worked for many years as a floral designer at "Silks for Less".
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "June" Taylor; and siblings, William, Barbara, E.L., Carol, Linda, Jeanette, Charlie, and Betty.
She is survived by her children, Tommy (Kim) Bryson, Tim (Susie) Taylor, and Gary (Glenda) Taylor; grandchildren, Jarrett (Willow Dawson) Bryson, Zada Bryson, Nathan Taylor, Nick (Julie) Taylor, Chris Taylor, Nick (Alissa Davis) Martin, and Myles Martin; great-grandchildren, Aya Taylor and Emma Rose Taylor; sibling, Jimmy (Marty) Ray; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Tim Taylor officiating. Eulogy was by Jarrett Bryson. Music was led by Margaret Crawford and Theresa Ross. Interment followed in the Chastain Memorial Park with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Nathan Taylor, Jarrett Bryson, Joel Mann, Joe Williams, Randy Clough, and Chris Taylor.
