Christine Payne Foster, age 81, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on July 17, 2017 at her home. Born in Fannin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Kit Carson Payne and Ollie Patterson Payne. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved helping others. She was also a long time member of the Staffordtown Holiness Church. Mrs. Foster was also preceded in death by her husband, William David Foster. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Marjorie Foster of Stockbridge, GA; brother, Rev. John Henry Payne of Epworth, GA; sisters and one brother-in-law, Katherine and Jack Maxwell of Ozark, AL, Mary Ann Robinson of Blue Ridge, GA, Elva Ricketson of Perry, GA, Mattie Botts of East Point, GA, Martha Jones of Blue Ridge, GA and Vina Green of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren, Travis G. Foster, Amanda D. Corbin, Sarah Riggio and Jesse L. Foster; and five great grandchildren, Zoey Foster, PJ Corbin, Sophia Riggio, Belle Riggio and Noah Foster. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Henry Payne officiating. A eulogy and music will be provided by Kathy Allen. Interment will follow in the Hipps Chapel Community Cemetery.
