Christina Yvette Pless, age 32, of McCaysville, GA passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. Christina was born in Gilmer County, Georgia and attended the Mineral Bluff House of Prayer. She was a graduate of Georgia Perimeter College where she received her Associate Degree and became a Veterinary Technician. She loved caring for animals. She is survived by her father and mother, Elmer and Marilyn Allen Pless of McCaysville, GA; Paternal grandmother, Rachel (Norman) Bell; sister, Anna Pless of McCaysville, GA; Cousins, Uncles, Aunts and a large number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Thomas Payne and Rev. Steve O' Neal officiating. Music will be the Kenny O'Neal family. Pallbearers include Hoyt Payne, Chris Heaton, Adam Hughes and Clyde O'Neal. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Baptist church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, but the family request that donations may be made to help with the funeral expenses.
