Cheryl Lynn Bradburn, age 70, of Copperhill passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. Cheryl was born on September 10, 1955 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late George Reed Kendall and Mae Elizabeth Howe Kendall. She was of Christian faith, and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Cheryl operated Cheryl's Daycare in downtown Blue Ridge for many years. She had an impact on the lives of all of the children she was entrusted with caring for. Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved going to church and worshiping through singing. Cheryl had a special bond with her beloved canine companion, Bella. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bradburn; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Karen Kendall; brother-in-law, Clyde Cruise; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Barry Key; sister, Cindy Kendall; and sister, Patricia Heavener.

Cheryl is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Amanda Bradburn, and Brian and Wendy Bradburn; grandchildren, Tyler Bradburn, Austin Bradburn, Blake Bradburn, Brodie Bradburn, and Natalie Bradburn; great-grandchildren, Raelyn Bradburn and Leigha Bradburn; siblings, Don (Marilyn) Kendall, Mike Kendall, Cathy Cruise, Jane (Leonard) Self, Sandi (Charlie) Williams, and Julie Wilkins (fiancee, Jay Gibson); brother-in-law, Bob Heavener; special friend, Stephanie Vieira; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 7:00 pm from the Akins-Cobb of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Gary Queen Jr. officiating. Music was provided by Wendy Bradburn and Raelyn Bradburn. Interment will take place at a later date at the Salem #2 Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends at Akins-Cobb of Copperhill on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
