Mr. Charlie Stiles, age 86, of Turtletown, TN went peacefully in his sleep to His Heavenly home on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1935 in Turtletown, TN. Charlie was a member of Living Word Church. Charlie loved chickens, loved to build chicken pens, tear them down the next day and start over. He loved to go to church and worship His Lord. Charlie was loved by all who met him. He could pray the most heartfelt prayers. Charlie will be greatly missed. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Mary Stiles; two brothers, Bob Stiles, and Buddy Stiles; five sisters, Ellen Stiles, Edna Hopkins, Mable Stiles, Willene Fields, and Louise Payne; several nieces and nephews. Charlie is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, James and Jeanine Stiles of the home; one sister, Ella Barber of Turtletown, TN; a niece, Lisa Perry of Turtletown, TN; and a nephew, Glen Stiles of AL. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Perry officiating. Eulogy will be by Lisa Perry. Music will be by Adam Crisp, Lora Rymer, Pastor Scott Perry and Lisa. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Crisp, Jason Hawkins, Lee Nicholson, Scott Fields, Steve Fields, Hunter Perry, and Faron Turner.
