Mr. Charles Roy Withrow, age 72, of Morganton, GA passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 in the V.A. Hospital in Decatur, GA. Born in Fannin County, he was the son of the late Thomas Withrow and Leora Scroggs Withrow. He worked as a sheet rock installer. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Janice Withrow of Levernia, TX; sons, Keith Withrow of Spring, TX, Dave Withrow and Bruce Withrow, both of San Antonio, TX, and Dell Withrow of Houston, TX; a daughter, Jennielynn A. Mrezer of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Dewey Withrow of Murphy, NC; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Military honors were by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
