Charles E. "J.R." Weaver, age 57, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021. J.R. was born on February 9, 1964 in Polk County, TN to the late Charles E. Weaver Sr. and Alice White Weaver. He worked for himself as a painter and home improvement specialist. He was a loving father, and was always there for his children and grandchildren. J.R. loved his grandkids, his family, being outdoors listening to music, playing pool, his animals, and his coffee with French Vanilla creamer. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Renee. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Weaver; sons, Jeremy Davenport, and Lawrence Alexander Weaver; daughters, Natasha Weaver, Briana Davenport; brothers, Eddie Weaver, Rickey Weaver; sisters, Karen Weaver, Brenda Weaver Oliver, and Julie Anthony; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted on Friday, March 12, 2021 from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Weaver and Rev. Jonathan Smith officiating. Interment followed at the Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Chris Ledford, DeShawn Mack, Joshua Harris, Tyler Brewer, and Sean Cassell.
