Charles "Biff" Lehman, age 64, of Mineral Bluff, GA formerly of Hollywood, FL passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his home following an extended illness. Biff was born on May 15, 1957 in Hollywood, FL, son of the late Barbara Holmes Lehman. An avid sports fan, he especially loved the Detroit Tigers and Miami Hurricanes. Biff enjoyed anything outdoors, from hunting, fishing, camping, to golf, softball, barbecues with Friends and Family and his Labradors. He loved to travel. If you knew him, you loved him. Biff spent 28 years in law enforcement with the Broward Sheriffs Office before retiring to the North Georgia mountains. He dearly loved his friends and family. Especially his wife of 26 years, Melanie Lehman. Biff was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Holmes Lehman of Mineral Bluff, GA; father-in-law, Donald Ransom of Blairsville, GA. Survivors include his wife, Melanie Lehman of Mineral Bluff, GA; beloved nephew, David Gooch of Hollywood, FL; mother-in-law, Barbara Ransom of Blairsville, GA. Additional family members include Bob (Peggy) Campbell of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Melissa Ransom of Tamarac, FL; Lauren Ransom of Dania, FL; Donald Ransom of Titusville, FL; Maryann Freeman of Blairsville, FL; Christine DeMayo of Port Richey, FL. Nieces and Nephews include Brooke (Brandon) Buchanan of Linden, VA, Robert (Amanda) Campbell of Vista, CA, Scott Campbell of Orlando, FL, Sam (Kristyn) Phelps of Oakland Park, FL, Lacey Ransom of Titusville, FL, and Richie Ransom of Tamarac, FL. Great nieces, Gillian Buchanan, Grayson Campbell, and Bailey Buchanan. Biff will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Billy and Eileen Ohara, 437 Kings Road, Blairsville, Georgia 30512.
