Wesley Huffman, age 67, of Dallas, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011. He was born in Blue Ridge, GA, October 13, 1943, and was preceded in death by his father, Jack Huffman and mother, Louise Phillips. Mr. Huffman was the former owner of American Corvette in Powder Springs, GA, was a member of Classic Glass Corvette Club and was a classic car and parts enthusiast. He was a devoted father and grandfather, and was well loved in the community. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Fowler Huffman; children, Chris & Scott Smith of Douglasville, GA, Toni & Brad Kittrell of Hiram, GA, Jack Huffman of Dallas, GA and Donna Goodwin of Dallas, GA; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Cheatham officiating. Pallbearers were Raland Patterson, Tommy Lackey, Jerry Burnette, Van Dilbeck, Ted Weaver, and Bill Queen. Interment followed in Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
