Charles "Chuck" Eddie Patterson, 62, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at his home in Blue Ridge. He was born on April 3, 1951 to Edd and Louise (Colwell) Patterson.Chuck married Nancy in 1989 and they were happily married for 23 years.He loved spending time outdoors, woodworking, and time with family. He enjoyed hunting, farming, working with horses and other animals. He was well respected in the horse industry and distinguished member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Edd and Louise Patterson.Chuck is survived by his spouse Nancy of Blue Ridge, GA ; his daughters and sons in law, Tabetha Whitaker and Mark Burger, Tiffany and Anthony Stanley and Lacey and Justin Sisson, all of Blue Ridge; His grandchildren Lucas Whitaker and Parker Stanley; His brother and Sister in law, Raland and Ann Patterson of Blue Ridge; sister and brother in law Paulette and Johnny McKinney of Loganville, GA and sister and brother in law Patsy and Spence Farley of Tennessee. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating. Eulogy was given by Tabitha Whitaker.
