Mr. Charles Monroe Bradburn, age 78, passed away at his home on Friday, August 23, 2024 surrounded by family in Blue Ridge, GA. He was born on September 7, 1945 to the late Charlie William and Emma Lou Pless Bradburn. Charles was a Vietnam Era, Army Veteran, serving in Germany. He loved his country and was proud of what the flag represents. Charles was a believer of Jesus Christ and a member of O'Zion Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by his parents; brother's Jerry Bradburn and Larry Bradburn.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Lynn Campbell Bradburn of the home; daughter, Lori Bradburn of Marietta, GA; sister Monita Davenport of Trabuco Canyon, CA; sister and brother-in-law Margie and Wade Hampton of Reseca, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Debbie Bradburn of Houston, TX, Roy and Cynthia Bradburn, Ronald and Denise Bradburn and James Bradburn all of Blue Ridge, GA; special niece and nephew-in-law, Vanessa and Andy Huffman and "grand"-nephew, Grant Huffman of Blue Ridge, GA; special nephew and niece-in-law, Chris and Julie Bradburn of Blairsville, GA; nephew, Jason Bradburn and niece-in-law, Amanda Bradburn of Mineral Bluff, GA; nephew and favorite hunting and fishing buddy, Jeremy Bradburn and niece-in-law, Nikki Bradburn of Blue Ridge, GA; as well as multiple other nephews and nieces; his best friend George Rogers, whom he enjoyed all their walks, talks and visits over the years.
The family would like to thank Pruitt Hospice, and all his special caregivers during his illness. You will never know how much you all meant to Charles.
Graveside services were conducted on Monday August 26, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. from the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with Minister Chris Bradburn officiating. Music was by Grant Huffman. Pallbearers were his nephews. Military Honors were provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard. The family visited with friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinscobb.com.
