Charles Arthur Beavers, age 82, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018. Charles was a native of the McCaysville area and was a son of the late Wiley and Minnie Patterson Beavers. He was retired as a Painter with the Cities Service Company where he had worked for forty years. He was of the Christian Faith. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff (Lori) Beavers of Blue Ridge, GA and Eddie (Tanya) Beavers of Ohio; daughters and sons-in-law, Gayla (David) Foster of Mineral Bluff, GA, Donna White of McCaysville, GA and Janet (Lewis) Chambers of Blue Ridge, GA; sister, Glenda Sue Ledford of Buford, GA; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. A private graveside service was conducted Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent online to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
