Catharine Calista Steiner, age 24, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, died May 4, 2021 at her home with her parents by her side. A private memorial service will be held Saturday May 8, 2021 at Akins Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, Georgia. She was born May 4, 1997 in Nashville, Tennessee to William and Susan Steiner. At birth she was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa. Catharine touched the heart of everyone that knew her. She was a remarkable young women with immense courage and resiliency. She had a gentle spirit, infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor. The family moved to St. Charles, Illinois in 2000 where she graduated in 2015 from North High School. She was active in the North Star service club and participated in drama club and Theatre. Catharine is survived by her parents Bill and Susan Steiner, sister Amanda (Jacob III) Thomas, brother Robert Steiner, aunts, uncles and several cousins and special friend Caroline DAguanno. She was proceeded in death by her loving grandparents Robert and Eva Steiner and DeLilah and Paul Powelson.
