The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces funeral services for Carroll Ray Dickerson, age 71, of Copperhill, TN who passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. Carroll Dickerson was born in Irvington, KY, March 29, 1939 to the late Curtis and Beulah Dickerson. Carroll was a retired auto body and mechanic. He was a member of the Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle Association and loved riding his Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle.He is survived by brothers, Robert Lee and wife, Minnie for Fairdale, KY; Paul from Kentucky; Ronnie and wife, Athleen from Sellersburg, IN; his sisters, Louise of Kentucky; and Joyce of Jeffersonville, IN; Sons: Timmy Dickerson and wife, Karen from Alabama; Darrell Ray Dickerson and wife Tracy of Kentucky, Timmy Brooks of Texas; Perry Brooks and wife Margaret of Alabama.Daughters: Robin Foster of Kentucky; Melinda Rosenbaum and husband Arthur of Copperhill, TN; Lisa Napier and husband Ken of Charlestown, IN; Teresa, Melanie and Jennifer.Twelve grandchildren; Four Great- Grandchildren.The body was cremated and no services are planned at this time.Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
