Caron Provine Jones, age 70, of Epworth, passed away on April 29, 2021, at her home. She was born on March 20, 1951, in Atlanta, to the late Oscar Tilden Provine and Margie Brown Provine. She retired from Delta after 35 years as a Technology Project Manager. She was an avid tennis player, golfer, and hiker. Caron was an active member of The Ridge Community Church, where she was a frequent volunteer on various projects and was very involved in the Service Sunday Ministry. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Jimmy Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Richard T. and Rhonda Provine; brother, Robert Provine; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM from The Ridge Community Church with Dr. Chan Mitchell and Pastor James Locke officiating. Interment will follow from Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 3:30 PM, at 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA 30349. Pallbearers will be Jack Meunier, Tom Jones, Don May, Ken Brenneman, Josh Underwood, Glen McAdams, and Michael Bowman. The family will visit with friends at the funeral home on Sunday Evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Caron may be made to The Ridge Community Church at PO Box 976, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
