Carolyn S. Loffer, age 84, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly.

Carolyn was born on April 30, 1941 in Middletown, Indiana to the late Lileth Fern Cox Forney and James E. Forney.

She followed her purpose in life by being a caregiver within her community. She was loved dearly by all those she served and cared for.

Her main hobbies were crafting, painting, and gardening. She shared these hobbies with her friends and family who will always cherish her art work.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her four brothers, five sisters, and one son, Ricky Sneed.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Mikolajewski of Tuscon, AZ; and three sons, Richard Sneed of Blue Ridge, GA, Michael Sneed and Dwight Sneed both of Indiana. She leaves behind several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many other friends and family whom she loved dearly.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Blue Ridge, GA from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
