Carolyn Marcella Lewis, age 59, of Turtletown, TN passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. Carolyn was a native of the Copper Basin area and was a daughter of the late William Lafayette and Myrtle Garrett Morrow. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sisters, Charlotte Dennis and Shirley Brendle. She is survived by son, Michael Cooper of Ringgold, GA; siblings, Cleaston Morrow of Turtletown, TN; Delora Hall of Ocoee, TN, Joyce Brendle of Farner,TN, Louise West of Liberty, NC, Doris Karantza of Acworth, GA, and Brenda McClouthan of Chattanooga, TN, several nieces, nephews and many other relatives survive.Funeral services were conducted Monday, September 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Music was by Janice Reid. Nephews served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
