Mrs. Carolyn Nadine Atkins, age 89, of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Manor Lake Assisted Living in Ellijay. Mrs. Atkins was born on March 18, 1932 in Havana, FL to the late J.H. Williams, Jr. and Ruby Vickers Williams. She attended the First Baptist Church of Blairsville. Along with her parents, Mrs. Atkins is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie David Atkins; daughter, Pam Carroll; and sisters, Martha Lee Merritt and Barbara Yarbrough. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ronda and Mike Hoover of Mineral Bluff; grandchildren, Brad (Leigh) Hoover of Ellijay, GA, Chad Hoover of Roswell, GA, Nick Hoover of Denver, CO, Stephanie (Rich) Blow of Daphne, AL, and Ryan (Rebecca) Carroll of Kingsville, MD; great grandchildren, Anna Hoover, Liam Hoover, Henry Hoover, Howell Hoover, Trice Blow, Johnathon Blow, Grace Carroll, and Lily Carroll; and siblings, Hershel Williams of Tallahassee, FL, Johnny Williams of Quincy, FL, Norman (Barbara) Williams of Wakulla, FL, Betty Kalfas of Tallahassee, FL, and Sandra Estes of Tallahassee, FL.
