Carol Ann Burger Dale, age 73, of Turtletown passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. She was born on December 2, 1952, in Polk County to the late Hoyt Burger and Emiline Farner Burger. Carol was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She had been a Sunday School Teacher at Community Church for about thirty years. Carol enjoyed knitting, other crafts, and had a great appreciation for native American Indian, and Amish cultures. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dale and sister, Ruby Bledsoe.

Survivors are son and daughter-in-law, Michael Ray Pack (Dejah); grandchildren, Amanda Young, Lucas Pack, Grace Ledford, and Casey Dale; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Pack, Peyton Pack, Ridge Pack, Ava Young, Stella Young, Everette Pack, and Lettie Ledford; and brother, Roger Burger.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Allen officiating. Music will be by Braylee Harper. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Casey Dale, Thomas Seabolt, Casey Young, and Dakota Ledford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, September 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
