Mrs. Carol Cheek, age 74 of Resaca, GA passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her home. Carol was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late Clint and Elsie Mae Boring Loudermilk.She was retired in Medical Supply Equipment. She was of the Baptist Faith.She is survived by her husband Tommy Cheek of the home; two sons, Woody Cheek of Acworth, GA, Chuck Cheek of Murphy, NC; brothers, Benny Loudermilk of Murphy, NC, Wayne Loudermilk of Centerville, GA, Mitchell Loudermilk of Murphy, NC; sisters, Linda Cheek of Murphy, NC and Jo Hoover of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Britton Cheek and Radford Cheek.Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 6th at 8:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Doug Howard officiating. Music will be by Russell O'Neal and Von Loudermilk. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow Saturday, December 7th at 11:00 a.m. from the Mt.
