Carlie Mae Gardner, age 93, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away peacefully Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. She was formerly from Miami and Winter Have, FL. Ms. Gardner was employed as a microbiologist for Miami-Dade Public Health Department for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents William M. Reynolds, Sr. and Clara Mae Reddish of Miami, FL, and loving brother William M. Reynolds, Jr. of Blue Ridge, GA.She is survived by sister-in-laws Lorraine M. Reynolds of Blue Ridge and Ms. Jean Gardner of Fresno, CA; nieces. Ms. Jacqueline Vaught of El Reno, OK, Maureen Childress (Laura, Gregory, Heather, Bryan) of Rockledge, FL, and Maryanne Martin (Robert, Christopher, Allison) of Blue Ridge, GA; nephew, William M. Reynolds III (Georgina, Stephanie, Michael) of Miami Springs, FL; cousins, Lillian (Harold) Held of Winter Haven, FL, June (John) Gamash of Bryson City, NC, and numerous great nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Reverend Father John Conway officiating. .
