Mr. Carl Eugene Setser, age 82, of Minral Bluff, GA passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 in the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Setser was born in Fannin County, GA on August 20, 1930 to the late Edward Setser ad Eula Cox Setser. He was retired from the Veteran's Administration Nursing Services in Atlanta, GA. He was a member and deacon of Union Baptist Church, a member of Morganton Masonic Lodge #201, and United States Army veteran serving in Korea as a Combat Medic. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Mull Setser. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and June Setser of Alto, GA; daughter, Brenda Jones of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jimmy Mull of Minera Bluff; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m from Union Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Johnson, Rev. Kenneth Montgomery, and Rev. Claude Mathis officiating. Pallbearers will be Chuck Jones, Larry Joe Mull, Dnnis Setser, Max Pittman, Lee Cox, ad Ed Pelfrey. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park with military honors by North Georgia Honor Guard.
