Mr. Carl Henry O'Neal, age 92, of Blue Ridge,GA, passed away on July 11, 2019 at his residence. Born in Copperhill, TN, he was the son of the late Robert Simon and Bonnie Tankersley O'Neal. Carl was a soldier for the Lord and was a long time member and Deacon of the Macedonia Baptist Church. He had worked for many years as an Iron Worker and much of that time employed with Williams Enterprise. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Louise Mashburn O'Neal; and one son, Michael Lynn O'Neal. Survivors include his three children and their spouses, Rev. Lamarr and Janice O'Neal of Copperhill, TN, Juanette Callihan of Blue Ridge, GA and Doris and Jackie Housley of Epworth, GA; siblings and their spouses, Rev. Melvin and Jo Ann O'Neal of Blue Ridge, GA, Newell and Yvonne O'Neal of McCaysville, GA, Rev. Ed and Joan O'Neal of Blue Ridge, GA, Charlene Mitchell of Blue Ridge, GA and Ronnie and Margaret O'Neal of Copperhill, TN; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. from the Glen Hope Baptist Church with Rev. James Worley and Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating. Music was provided by Kenny and Kim O'Neal. Interment followed in the Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Craig O'Neal, Eric O'Neal, Shannon Callihan, Matthew Callihan, Mike Bowers and Davey Ensley. Honorary pallbearers were Cameron Cearley, Drew Foresman, Caleb Cearley, Josh Bowers, Dylan O'Neal, Sawyer O'Neal and Reid O'Neal.
