Mr. Carl William Davenport, age 65, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Davenport was born on August 13, 1947 in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Theodore Roosevelt Davenport and Blanche Olva Davenport. He was a self-employed landscaper and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Marie Newton. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest Mitchell Davenport and Christy Davenport of Cleveland, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Michael Johnson of Blue Ridge; and four grandchildren, Vanessa Davenport, Daniel Davenport, Ashton Johnson, and Cassy Johnson.
