Canaan Abram Queen, two weeks old, of McCaysville, GA went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was born on October 10, 2024 in Cleveland, TN to Dustin Tyler Queen and Rachel Cheyenne Johnson Queen. Canaan attended Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He brought abundant joy to his family, and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Leroy Queen; Judy Farner, and Pearlie and Alene Johnson.

Canaan is survived by his loving parents; Dustin Tyler Queen and Cheyenne Johnson Queen of McCaysville, GA; siblings, Raylee Lane Queen and Raelynn Cherokee Queen; aunts, Autumn Sunmark and Raina Johnson; uncles, Jacob Queen, Jordan Johnson, Dakota Thrower, and Jeremiah Johnson; grandparents, Buddy Queen and Paul and Susan Johnson; great-grandparents, Thomas Dunn and Maybell Queen; many cousins, and other dear relatives.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Smith and Rev. Donald Weaver officiating. Music was provided by the women of the church. Interment followed in the Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Justin Elrod and Wesley Cearley. The family visited with friends at the Akins-Cobb of Blue Ridge on Friday evening, November 1, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
