Robert "Buck" William Cook, age 73, of McCaysville, GA passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at home. He was born on September 18, 1948 in Andrews, NC to the late Parks Ray Cook and Dorothy Jean Berrong Ramsey. Buck was a press operator for MGM Brakes. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Murphy, NC. Buck liked Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a Tennessee Vols fan. Survivors are his wife of thirty-six years, Janice Cook of McCaysville, GA; sister, Theresa Roberts; many nieces; nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, NC with Rev. Ronnie Crisp officiating. Music will be by Hope and Nathan Sowers. Pallbearers will be Chad McNabb, Jason Roberts, Nathan Sowers, Trevor Thompson, Emmitt Thompson and David Cook. There will be no visitation.
