Bruce Channing Tucker, age 55, of Turtletown passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Hospice Care Center in Chattanooga, TN. Bruce was born on May 19, 1966 in San Francisco, CA to William Howard Tucker and Sue Ann Williams. He worked as an installer for Tri-State Heating and Air. Bruce was member of Community Baptist Church in Turtletown. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Tucker. Bruce is survived by his wife, Sharon Tucker of the home; daughters, Whitney (Brian) Taylor, and Amber (Nate) Laterza; grandchildren, Breylin Tucker, Bella Taylor, Hannah Winkler, Tyler Winkler, Kara Winkler, and Elijah Laterza; sisters, Tammy (Guy) Forgey and Tisha (Rob) Serpa; brother, Jason (Sarah) Tucker; mother and stepfather, Sue and Peter Stalgis; stepsister and spouse, Angela and Bryan Nelson; niece and nephews, Erycka Tucker, Amanda Ginn, Crystal Postelle, Devin Tucker, Amber Jorgenson, Robby Hoover, and Christopher Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 23 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell Allen and Rev. Roy Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Adam Bradburn, Jason Postelle, Ronnie Fare, Brandon Hughes, Jimmy Trantham, and BJ Taylor.
