Mrs. Brittany Alexandria Riden, age 23, of Talking Rock, GA, passed away on October 15, 2019. She was born in Fannin County, GA on October 16, 1995. She was a loving mother and a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Polk County, TN. She was preceded in death by her father, James Richard Penwell. Survivors include her husband, Jamie Riden; children, Berkley and Jayci Riden; mother, Sherry Penwell; brothers, James Penwell and Adrian Derreberry; mother-in-law and father-in-law Ginger and Robert Cole; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Stiles and Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Reid. Interment will follow in the O'Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jamie Riden, James Penwell, Cody Cole, Dawson Stewart, William Stewart, Adrian Derreberry and Tommy Nelson.
