Bridget Alisha Cox Anderson, age 41, of Morganton, GA passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Hospice Atlanta. She was born December 14, 1974 in Blairsville, GA to Larry Eugene and Diana Chastain Cox. She was a member of Helping Hand Fellowship Church where served as Pianist and Vacation Bible School Director. She enjoyed Women's Fellowship and painting. She worked as Customer Service Manager at Free Time Hobbies. Bridget was a Bus Driver for the Fannin County School System and was a 1993 Graduate of Fannin County High School. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Gene Cox, J.C. Chastain, and Dale Reece and father-in-law, Sam Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, David Samuel Anderson Jr. of the home; Jacob Eugene Anderson of the home; parents, Larry and Diana Cox of Blue Ridge; brother, Rusty Cox of Blairsville; grandmother, Vida Cox of Blue Ridge; mother-in-law, Charlotte R. Anderson of Morganton; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Denny Hawkins officiating. Music will be by Sherry Walden, Lacey Walden, Kristen Kay, and the Helping Hand Church Choir. Interment will follow in the Helping Hand Fellowship Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Ben Graham, Matthew Graham, Rusty Cox, Adam Standridge, Brandon Lowe, and Brad Caudill. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday evening from 5-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Jacob Anderson College Fund at United Community Bank P.O.
