Brian Waters, age 43, of Copperhill, TN passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Blue Ridge, GA. He was born on October 21, 1977 in Blue Ridge, GA. Brian was a truck driver for Southern Concrete. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Murphy, NC. Survivors are daughters, Katelyn Waters of Copperhill, TN and Karly Waters of Blue Ridge, GA; father, Herman "Ducie" Waters of Copperhill, TN; mother, Audrey Westmoreland of Murphy, NC; brother, James Harrison of Mineral Bluff, GA; sister, Lisa Waters Cole of Mineral Bluff, Ga; girlfriend, Andrea Dalton; large number of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Billy Waters and Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating. Music was by Colwell Baptist Church Choir and Shelly Utley. Interment followed in the Westmoreland Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Utley, Travis Bryant, David Waters, James Harrison, Jerome Walker, Isaiah Newman, Keith Waters and Chris Cole.
