Brenda Elizabeth Vogan, age 79, of Epworth, Georgia, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 2, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late J.B. Gravitt and Willie Alene Lancaster Gravitt.

Brenda was a devoted dog lover and a professional breeder, specializing in the Chow Chow breed. She was passionate about showing dogs and earned numerous top awards throughout her many years in the field. Most of all, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend that cherished her time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Matthew Stanford; and siblings, Jerry Gravitt, Sandra Hightower, Eddie Gravitt, Ronnie Gravitt, and Deborah Kent.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mike Vogan; her children, Valerie (Ernest) Suarez, Donna (Ron) Lee, and Stephen (Jeanine) McDaniel; her grandchildren, Devan Stanford, Amanda McDaniel, Emily Castaneda, and Megan McDaniel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Vogan's life was held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
