Mrs. Brenda Ann Sisson Smith, age 76 of Woodstock, GA, passed away on May 24, 2021 in the Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. She was born in Blue Ridge, GA on July 14, 1944 to the late Dallas David and Hazel Drucella Bennett Sisson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Brenda had a passion for her family, Southern Gospel Music, shopping and collecting many things. Her brother, David Sisson also precedes her in death. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jerry S. Smith of the home; two sons, Kenneth S. and wife Julie Mericle Smith of Deland, FL and Jason S. Smith also of the home; grandchildren, Annabelle Smith and Owen Smith; sister, Lynda Carol Millholland; nephews, Denny Millholland, Scott Millholland, David Sisson, Brett Sisson, Phillip Smith, Bob Mooney and Bryan Mooney. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge with Rev. Harold Willis officiating. Interment followed in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Denny Milholland, Zach Milholland, Jacob Milholland, Scott Milholland, Brett Sisson, and David Sisson.
