Brenda Jane Sahms Stiles Farrell, age 67, of Turtletown, TN, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011. Brenda was born on October 12, 1943 in Gastonia, NC to the late Marvin James and Lillian Julia Drew Sahms,Sr. She was a member of the Ridge Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC. Brenda was preceded in death by husband, Robert Farrell; siblings, Marvin Sahms, Jr. and Randall Sahms.She is survived by sons, Eddie (Debbie) Stiles of Turtletown, TN and Marvin Stiles of Gastonia, NC; daughters, Julia Del Rio of Turtletown, TN, Rita (Carlton) Deal of Copperhill, TN, Paula (Toolman) Michaels of Clover, SC; brothers, Douglas Sahms of Gastonia, NC, Winford Sahms of Saint Augustine, FL; sister, Nancy Detter of Gastonia, NC; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 23rd at 8:00 P.M. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Deal officiating. Music will be by Carla Ballew and Ivy Deal. The body will be cremated with interment on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Onley Presbyterian Cemetery in Gastonia, NC.
