Brandon James Helton, age 36, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2023. He was born in Gainesville, GA on July 2, 1986. He worked as a general contractor. Brandon was a member of Cherry Log Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his contagious smile.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Edd and Laura Abernathy, Ruth S. Helton, and James Helton.

He is survived by his parents, Ann Abernathy Helton and Michael James Helton; sister, Sarah Helton Kendall; nieces and nephews, Tristan Helton Kendall and Kayleigh Helton Coleman; grandmother, Evelyn Helton; aunts and uncles, William and Lisa Abernathy and Tom and Mary Beth Stager; cousins, Scott and Olivia Abernathy and Christopher (Edison) Abernathy; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Brandon's life will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be special friends of Brandon's, Wayne (Linda) Johnson, Adam (Christina) Cruse, Nick (Charlie) Patterson, Zachary Ramey, Daniel (Leann) Bolling, Marty (Ashley) Prince,Rev. Joey (Linda) Whittenbarger, Jerry (Rachel) Burnett, Dennis (Pamela) Young, Spencer Young, Steve Towe, Bill Searcy, and Joey Watkins.
